Three generations of Italian baking, on the same Bronx corner.
In 1968, Carmine "Butchie" Zeppieri opened the doors of a small Italian bakery on Buhre Avenue. Five decades later, the recipes haven't changed — and neither has the family running it.
From wedding cakes that mark the biggest day of your life to the loaf of seeded bread you grab on your way home, every product leaves our ovens the same way it has for 56 years: by hand, with care, and with the same flour-dusted recipes Butchie started with.
